something old...becomes something new

Lately I've been on the hunt for costume jewelry, or any type jewelry, at yard sales, flea markets, thrift stores, etc. I've had luck at a couple sales:

I stopped in at a yard sale in Yucaipa, CA where I hit the jackpot! I got all this jewelry, plus the cute pink box, for $0.30! Can you believe it?!!! What a steal!
On a road trip I took this summer, I stopped in at a yard sale in Texas, where I found another great deal! I got this box of costume jewelry for only $3!
(a little more than the Yucaipa sale, but still a good price)
I'm using the old pieces of jewelry that were junk to others, and am making new pieces of jewelry that I'm really excited about! They have a vintage flair using old clip-on earrings and broken glass.
